El Sol is a 10 piece band devoted to Salsa music - especially Salsa Dura NY-style. We play original arrangements of classic 70's songs from Eddie Palmieri, Ray Barretto, and Willie Colon as well as Latin standards and even a few Beatles songs. Our two singers, two trombones, flute, bongo, conga, timbale, keyboards and bass create an infectious groove that will bring you to the dance floor.
